End-of-Life Coalitions
The Coalition for Compassionate Care of California encourages and supports local, community-based coalitions. These coalitions include individuals and organizations working to engage the public in end-of-life issues and to improve care for the dying at the local level. In the past few years, at least 20 community coalitions have taken root around the state.

POLST Coalitions
The Coalition for Compassionate Care of California is coordinating 18 coalitions in California working to implement POLST in their communities. This project is funded by the California HealthCare Foundation. The following resources offer insight on how to build a community coalition.
